Sonos Quartett

The Sonos Quartett grew out of a family string trio: in 1992 the three Basel sisters Stefanie (violin), Martina (viola) and Andrea Bischof (cello) began playing together. With violinist Jiří Němeček, for many years first violin of the award-winning Bennewitz Quartet, it became the Sonos Quartett. The ensemble studied chamber music with Walter Levin, Sebastian Hamann, Rainer Schmidt and Eberhard Feltz.
